In the front line work we do in the food distribution center in Netanya, many times we have the thought or feelings, “we are working so hard, is this all worth it?”  Then, just when we least expect it, the Lord will send us a comment by a 91 year old Russian Jewish woman,

“All these years I’ve lived in Israel and no one has helped me except you.  This gives me hope and joy knowing that there are people like you.”  We also had city officials come to us saying, “We love what you are doing and how you personally care for the people of our city.  What can we do to help you expand it?”

Besides knowing that the Lord has called us to do this work, receiving these kinds of statements and comments confirm what the Lord is doing in and through us, even when we don’t feel it.
